What automotive services does Lyall Street Service offer?
We provide a full range of automotive repair and maintenance services including tune-ups, oil changes, brakes, suspension repair, tire and battery services, 4-wheel alignment, drivability and computer diagnostics, AC servicing and repairs, BC government safety inspections, and diesel vehicle servicing. Our experienced technicians handle vehicles of all makes and models.
Where is Lyall Street Service located?
We’re located at 1480 Lyall Street in Victoria, BC (Esquimalt), just off Lyall Street near CFB Esquimalt.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book by calling us at (250) 382-0015 or using our online booking form. Once your appointment has been confirmed, you can drop your vehicle off during business hours or use our after-hours key drop if needed.
Note: we are drop off appointments only, and we do not take waiting appointments or “1:00-3:00” style appointments. We require vehicles to be dropped off for the early morning, closer to 8am the better, and they will be called with updates as soon as we have any. Vehicles are typically ready for pick-up before the end of the day unless continued repairs or a larger job is required.
What are your hours of operation?
Our shop is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We take a 1-hour break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch. We are closed on weekends.
Do you offer safety inspections required for BC?
Yes, we are a certified BC government safety inspection facility and can perform all required inspections.
Do you service diesel vehicles?
Yes, we have a diesel mechanic on duty and offer diesel vehicle servicing in addition to gasoline engine repair.
Do you provide warranty or guaranteed work?
Yes, all our work and parts are guaranteed, and we stand behind the service we provide for your vehicle.
Do you offer financing options?
We offer CANEX financing to CF1 members to help make necessary repairs and maintenance more affordable.
What brands or vehicles do you work on?
Our team can service most domestic and imported vehicles — including cars, trucks, and light diesel models.
Note: We can’t work on anything over 10’4″.

Do you accept walk-ins?
We welcome inquiries, but we recommend booking appointments in advance to ensure timely service.
